Abstract: a display device according to an example embodiment of the present disclosure includes a display panel having a first area comprising a plurality of first pixels, and a second area disposed adjacent to the first area and comprising a plurality of second pixels, and a brightness controller configured to control brightness of the first area, wherein the brightness controller controls brightness of a second optical area included in each of the plurality of first pixels disposed in the first area.
