Abstract: provided is a refractive characteristic measurement device () that measures a refractive characteristic of an eye (), the device including: a light emission unit (); an opening member () that is positioned between the light emission unit and the eye and has a first opening () and a second opening () through which light emitted by the light emission unit is narrowed and passed; a first optical element () that is provided in the first opening and transmits light in a first wavelength band; and a second optical element () that is provided in the second opening and transmits light in the second wavelength band, in which the light emission unit includes a background portion () that emits white light, a first visual target portion () that emits first light (li) that is a complementary color to light in the first wavelength band, and a second visual target portion () that emits second light (l) that is a complementary color to light in the second wavelength band.
