Abstract: a system and method for measuring tissue. a chamber is configured to hold a liquid medium. two attachments structures with respective tissue engaging sections are configured to hold the tissue there between inside the chamber and submerged in the liquid medium. at least one of the attachments structures is formed by a cantilever. the cantilever comprises a respective bending section formed by an elongate strip with a flat surface fixated at one end of the cantilever and configured to bend with an, opposite, free end of the cantilever in a direction normal to the flat surface. the respective tissue engaging section is connected at the free end of the cantilever to the respective bending section and configured to hold a respective part of the tissue at the free end.
