WELLBORE SERVICING COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING A LATEX ADDITIVE
Abstract: a wellbore servicing fluid comprising (a) a fluid loss additive comprising (i) a biopolymer gum and (ii) a latex; and (b) a base fluid wherein a fluid loss in the wellbore servicing fluid is reduced by from about 50% to about 80% when compared to the fluid loss in the absence of the biopolymer gum. a method of preparing a wellbore servicing fluid comprising contacting a base fluid and a liquid fluid loss additive comprising a biopolymer gum and a latex, wherein a fluid loss in the wellbore servicing fluid is reduced by from about 50% to about 80% when compared to the fluid loss in the absence of the biopolymer gum. a method of servicing a wellbore penetrating a subterranean formation comprising placing a wellbore servicing fluid comprising (a) a fluid loss additive comprising (i) a biopolymer gum and (ii) a latex; and (b) a base fluid into a wellbore; and wherein a fluid loss in the wellbore servicing fluid is reduced by from about 50% to about 80% when compared to the fluid loss in the absence of the biopolymer gum. a method comprising contacting a base fluid, a cement, and a liquid fluid loss additive to form a pumpable cementitious slurry; wherein the liquid fluid loss additive comprises a biopolymer gum and a latex and wherein a fluid loss in the wellbore servicing fluid is reduced by from about 50% to about 80% when compared to the fluid loss in the absence of the biopolymer gum.
