ANTIBODY FRAGMENT SPECIFIC TO C-KIT POSITIVE TUMORS

Abstract: an object of the present invention is to provide a detection agent (diagnostic agent) and a treatment agent targeting c-kit molecules, which are taken up into tumors early in vivo. as a result of examining a molecular species that specifically binds to c-kit and a labeling agent and a treatment agent which are coupled to the molecular species, the inventors found that combining an anti-c-kit antibody fragment and ir700 makes it possible to accumulate the combined product in a tumor for a short period, such as several hours from administration for detecting and treating the tumor. therefore, the present invention relates to a complex of the antigen-binding fragment of an anti-c-kit antibody and ir700 and also relates to a detection agent and a treatment agent containing the complex as an active ingredient. specifically, the present invention relates to a complex comprising: an antigen-binding fragment of an antibody having a complementarity determining region (cdr) in an antibody heavy chain having an amino acid sequence set forth in seq id no: 2 and a cdr in an antibody light chain having an amino acid sequence set forth in seq id no: 4; and ir700.
