Abstract: methods are provided for hydrothermal synthesis of porous crystalline materials. the method generally comprises forming a solution of precursors and reagents in effective ratios for a porous crystalline material including a fluoride-containing mineralizer, and water-soluble oxidized disulfide oil. the solution is hydrothermally treated under effective conditions and for an effective time to synthesize porous crystalline materials.
