PRINTING APPARATUS

Abstract: a printing apparatus includes: a feeding roller configured to transport a medium from an accommodation unit to a feeding path; an intermediate roller provided downstream of the feeding roller; a first motor; and a power transmitting unit configured to transmit power from the first motor to the feeding roller and the intermediate roller, in which the power transmitting unit includes a connecting portion in a transmission path configured to transmit power of the first motor to the intermediate roller, and when external force acts, the connecting portion allows the intermediate roller to rotate in accordance with the external force, the external force causing the intermediate roller to rotate in a direction in which the medium is transported downstream.
