Abstract: a power tool includes a motor, a hammer mechanism, a housing, and a handle. the motor has a motor shaft that rotates around a motor axis. the hammer mechanism includes a cylinder and a hammer element and is configured to convert rotary motion of the motor shaft to linear motion of the hammer element along a prescribed hammer axis by utilizing action of an air spring of an air chamber. the housing has a front end part including a front end surface to which a tool accessory is mounted, and a rear end part including a rear surface on the opposite side to the front end surface the handle is configured to be held by a user. the motor axis and the hammer axis are parallel to each other. the rear end of the handle is arranged on the rear end part.
