Abstract: 5-methoxy-n,n-dimethyltryptamine (5-meo-dmt) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof is used in treating a patient suffering from negative thinking, wherein the 5-meo-dmt or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof is administered via the intravenous, intramuscular or subcutaneous route.
