Abstract: a backpack-type blower disclosed herein may include: a backpack unit including a backpack frame and a shoulder belt attached to the backpack frame; a housing supported by the backpack frame; a prime mover supported by the housing; a blower fan disposed within the housing and configured to be driven by the prime mover; a flexible pipe extending from the housing; a blower pipe extending from a front end of the flexible pipe; a grip unit disposed on the blower pipe; and a suspension band. one end of the suspension band may be connected to the flexible pipe, the blower pipe, or the grip unit, at a position frontward of at least a part of the flexible pipe. another end of the suspension band may be connected to the backpack unit.
