Abstract: an icemaker according to the present embodiment may comprise an ice-making unit which is provided in an ice-making chamber and which is for making ice. the icemaker may further comprise: a cooling unit for cooling the ice-making unit; a water supply unit for supplying water to the ice-making unit during ice-making; an ice-removal unit for removing ice from the ice-making unit during ice-removal; and a controller for controlling one or more from among the cooling unit, the water supply unit, and the ice-removal unit.
