APPARATUS FOR MONITORING PRESSURE WAVE OF PIPELINE

Abstract: the present disclosure relates to an apparatus for monitoring pressure waves within a pipeline. it includes a pressure sensor to which a pressure of the fluid within the pipeline is directly transmitted without a separate impulse pipeline, which has a short response time of about 1�10 ms to detect instantaneous excessive pressure waves, a time synchronization module for synchronization with a measurement time of a pressure sensor installed at a different position in the pipeline, a data logger configured to store measured values of the pressure sensor, a communication unit configured to transmit data of the data logger to the outside, and a controller configured to determine that excessive pressure waves occur in the pipeline so that only a pressure value measured by the pressure sensor within a predetermined time before and after a determination time point is stored in the data logger.
