Abstract: the present invention discloses a recycled polybutylene terephthalate (pbt) and its production method thereof. the recycled polybutylene terephthalate is a polybutylene terephthalate obtained by chemically depolymerizing and ester exchanging recycled pet with 1,4 butanediol (bdo) directly using a ti catalyst chelated by a polyacid or a polyalcohol, and then through polymerization. the production method is to reduce the manufacturing process and to produce a product with good physical properties.
