Abstract: systems and methods are provided for monitoring and detecting unauthorized access to a vehicle. the systems and methods may receive surveillance data of the vehicle using a sensor. the systems and methods may detect, from the surveillance data, an intrusion to the vehicle by an entity. the systems and methods may transition the sensor out of a minimal power state upon detecting the intrusion to the vehicle. the systems and methods may perform a scan of the vehicle to obtain information indicating a type of the intrusion using the sensor. the systems and methods may determine, from the scan, the type of the intrusion to the vehicle is a threat intrusion by determining the entity causing the intrusion is unauthorized and the entity is performing an unauthorized action. the systems and methods may perform a safety action to interfere with the threat intrusion.
