Abstract: a system for providing a transparent view of an external environment from inside a vehicle. the system includes at least one portion of the vehicle that is a visual obstruction of a portion of an external environment from a perspective of an interior position in the vehicle. the system further includes at least one perception sensor, wherein the at least one perception sensor captures images of the external environment. the system further includes at least one display positioned inside the vehicle, wherein the display presents a transparent view that represents the portion of the external environment that is obstructed from the perspective of the interior position in the vehicle.
