Abstract: a photoirradiation unit includes a case, a light source, a light converging lens, and a light transmissible member. the case has a lower surface having an opening. the light source and the light converging lens are arranged in the case. the light transmissible member is arranged in the opening of the case. the light converging lens causes the light emitted from the light source to converge. the light transmissible member permeates the light that has converged by the light converging lens. the light transmissible member has a flat lower surface. accordingly, it is possible to reduce the occurrence of disturbances in the airflow produced by the light converging lens between the photoirradiation unit and the print medium.
