Abstract: a golf club head includes a head body that includes a face portion and a sole portion; a cavity that is provided in the head body and at a rear-surface side of the face portion; a fiber-reinforced resin layer that is disposed in the cavity and at a rear surface of the face portion; and a resin member that is disposed in the cavity, close to the sole portion, and at a rear surface of the fiber-reinforced resin layer. the resin member extends in a toe-heel direction.
