Abstract: a device suitable for transmitting light from a device in a body cavity. the device includes a main tubular body having a distal end and a proximal end, at least one light source positioned within the main tubular body, an outer part, such as a plurality of tubular ribs and a switch. the device is configured to receive a battery to be electrically connected to the switch to power the light source, the battery and the switch preferably positioned within the main body, and wherein the device is adapted to be inserted within the body cavity, such as a vagina.
