Abstract: compositions and methods of use are disclosed which can provide protection against ultraviolet radiation to a user's scalp and hair when applied thereto. such compositions may further allow for the user to style their hair and aid in nourishment and strengthening of the user's hair fibers. the ingredients of these compositions can include uv filters, particularly bemotrizinol, styling agents of polyvinylpyrrolidone and polyvinylpyrrolidone/vinyl acetate copolymer, and a plethora of skin conditioning agents derived from herb extracts, plant seeds, and amino acids. numerous additives can be present in these compositions as well, ranging from solvents, antioxidants, ph adjusters, emulsion stabilizers, rheology modifiers, humectants, and preservatives.
