TOMOGRAPHIC RADIOGRAPHY AND CALIBRATION

Abstract: this disclosure relates to calibrating tomographic imaging systems, wherein the calibrating comprises a step of generating what could be called a virtual tomographic calibration image. such image is based on exposing an attenuator object and virtual tomographic calibration images then provide a base for generating calibration functions to be applied to diagnostic tomographic images of an anatomy.
