Abstract: an oral animal feed and a method of preventing and/or controlling parasitic worms in an mammal in need thereof by orally administering to the mammal, for example a canine, a feed or a composition comprising an effective amount of an anthelmintic that is delivered on a daily or a substantially daily basis for an effective time to thereby cause the amount of the anthelmintic in the mammal's digestive tract to rise to and be maintained at a therapeutically effective level for controlling parasitic worms.
