HEAT PUMP SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE

Abstract: a heat pump system for a vehicle may be configured to adjust a temperature of a vehicle interior by selectively exchanging heat between coolant and thermal energy generated from refrigerant at the time of condensation and evaporation. the system may use the heat-exchanged low-temperature or high-temperature coolant to improve the heating efficiency of the vehicle by selectively using ambient air heat, waste heat of electrical components, and waste heat of a battery module, at the time of heating the vehicle interior. the system may increase the overall travel distance of the vehicle by efficiently adjusting the temperature of the battery module for optimal performance of the battery module.
