Abstract: a robot system is configured to determine whether or not to cause a first robot arm and a second robot arm to grasp a target object and configured to cause the first robot arm and the second robot arm to grasp the target object by causing the first robot arm and the second robot arm to symmetrically operate in a case where it is determined that the first robot arm and the second robot arm are caused to grasp the target object.
