Abstract: a filtration system including a housing defining an internal volume. the housing includes a housing first end, a housing second end, and a first coupling member formed in the housing. the housing first end is an open end. the housing second end is a closed end. a filter element is positioned within the internal volume of the housing. the filter element is configured to engage the first coupling member. a filter head is provided. a seal member is disposed between the housing first end and the housing second end. the seal member provides a radial seal directly between the housing and the filter head.
