Abstract: a defibrillator includes a controller configured to detect a use state of a defibrillator by an operator, and output guidance of a use method of the defibrillator, according to the detected use state. the controller is configured to detect a change in the use state in a period before a timing at which a pair of pads of the defibrillator are attached to a skin of a subject from a timing at which the defibrillator is started up.
