Abstract: the present invention relates to a topical pharmaceutical composition having anti-inflammatory and analgesic activity to be delivered preferably by a vaporisation (spraying) system, comprising diclofenac or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, volatile silicones having low dynamic viscosity and high molecular weight silicon compounds. the invention also relates to the use of said composition especially in the treatment of pain and inflammation.
