Abstract: provided is a scanner including a first insertion portion into which a battery is to inserted in a detachable form, a capacity indicating portion, and one or more processors configured to execute one or more instructions, wherein the one or more processors are configured to execute the one or more instructions to, in response to a first connector provided in the battery being connected to a second connector provided in the first insertion portion, receive battery information and power from the battery via the first connector and the second connector, and output an indicator corresponding to the battery information via the capacity indicating portion.
