SOLE PLATE FOR AN ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR

Abstract: the present disclosure relates to a sole plate for an article of footwear, in particular for a sports shoe such as a running shoe, the sole plate comprising: a first portion comprising a first material; and a second portion comprising a second material; wherein the second material has a greater stiffness than the first material; and wherein, when the sole plate is for a right shoe, the first portion is arranged on a medial side of the sole plate and the second portion is arranged on a lateral side of the sole plate, and/or wherein, when the sole plate is for a left shoe, the first portion is arranged is arranged on a lateral side of the sole plate and the second portion is arranged on a medial side of the sole plate, wherein the sole plate comprises one or more first apertures.
