Abstract: an apparel article () with a grip texture on an exterior surface formed by a grip field of a plurality of spaced-apart nodules () extending from the exterior surface to a distal end and each defining a concave recess () therein. the apparel article may comprise (a) a glove body having a cuff with an open end and a hand portion from which four finger tubes and a thumb tube extend, for receiving a hand. and the exterior surface having at least one grip field for gripping an article and (b) a shoe cover with a sole having the grip field for resisting slippage on walking surfaces.
