Abstract: a heating assembly and an aerosol-generating apparatus are provided. the heating assembly includes a heater and an electrode connecting member. the heater heats an aerosol-forming substrate to generate an aerosol. the heater is provided with an electrode. the electrode connecting member includes a first contact piece and a second contact piece. at least one of the first contact piece and the second contact piece maintains contact with the electrode to form an electrical connection. the first contact piece is provided with a first connecting portion, and the second contact piece is provided with a second connecting portion that is separated from the first connecting portion. the first connecting portion and the second connecting portion may be integrated together to hold the electrode connecting member on the heater.
