Abstract: this application relates to the technical field of terminals, and provides an interface display method and an electronic device. the method includes: displaying a first interface; displaying a second interface in response to a first switching operation performed on the first interface; displaying a third interface at a first time point in response to an operation of entering a desktop editing mode, where the third interface is an interface of the first interface in the desktop editing mode, and the electronic device was not connected to a network since first power-on to the first time point; and exiting the desktop editing mode, connecting to a network, and then displaying a fourth interface at a second time point in response to the operation of entering the desktop editing mode, where the fourth interface is an interface of the second interface in the desktop editing mode.
