Abstract: the optical system disclosed in an embodiment of the invention includes an image sensor; and first to seventh lenses aligned along an optical axis from the object toward the sensor, wherein a refractive power of the first lens is negative, and a composite refractive power of the second lens to the seventh lens is positive, at least one of the sixth lens and the seventh lens is made of a plastic material, each of the first to seventh lenses has an object-side surface and a sensor-side surface, and a difference between the effective diameters of the object-side surface and the sensor-side surface of the fifth lens may be the greatest among the differences between the effective diameters of the object-side surface and the sensor-side surface of each of the first to seventh lenses.
