Abstract: a photochromic article including a substrate; a primer layer formed by curing a polymerizable composition for forming the primer layer, and a photochromic layer formed by curing a (meth)acrylate-based polymerizable composition containing a photochromic compound, in this order, wherein the polymerizable composition for forming the primer layer contains isocyanate group-containing urethane (meth)acrylate, and the polymerizable composition for forming the primer layer has an isocyanate group content rate of 2.0 mass % or more when a total amount of the composition is set to 100 mass %.
