System and Method for Yaw Moment Control

Abstract: aircraft control systems and methods include accessing data corresponding to a yaw moment command, computing a control effector adjustment command for one or more control effectors, and adjusting the one or more control effectors of the aircraft to implement the control effector adjustment command. the control effector adjustment command includes deflection adjustments for two control surfaces of the aircraft that are spaced apart on a wing of the aircraft along a transverse direction. the two control surfaces of the aircraft deflect in opposite directions to implement the control effector adjustment command.
