Jam Shock Relief Mechanism for Gas Spring Fastening Tool

Abstract: a power tool includes an air spring cylinder, a piston movably positioned within the air spring cylinder along a longitudinal axis of the air spring cylinder and a driver blade fixedly attached to the piston. the power tool includes a lifter that is attached to the piston via an elastic member so as to extend side by side with the driver blade. the elastic member serves as a jam bumper that absorbs jam shock due to abnormal tool operation.
