Abstract: the invention relates to a device () for coating an object () with a silicone coating (), the device comprising: at least one processing station () having a processing region () for receiving the object (); at least one silicone spray nozzle () for applying the silicone () to at least one surface region () of the object () in order to result in a silicone coating (); at least one optical sensor () for monitoring the quality of the silicone coating () by identifying silicone (), wherein the optical sensor () has an identification region () aligned with the processing region (), in which identification region the sensor () can identify silicone (); and at least one compressed air nozzle (), which is aligned with the identification region () of the at least one optical sensor (), for flushing the identification region () with compressed air.
