Abstract: a method, computer program product, and computer system for verifying injectable medication administrations across a plurality of healthcare providers. an intelligent injection device may include: a barrel and needle assembly, a piston for delivering medication, a microprocessor, a wireless communication module, and an electronic health record system integration module configured to: receive patient prescription data from electronic health records, verify medication type and dosage against prescription records, transmit administration data back to health records from the intelligent injection device, and verify a continuity of care metric across a plurality of healthcare providers.
