SHAPE MORPHING HYDROGEL ACTUATORS AND CONSTRUCTS

Abstract: a construct includes a biocompatible polymer-based shape morphing hydrogel or cell condensate that is configured to undergo multiple, reversible, and/or controllable different shape transformations over time via either pre-programmed design or user-controlled environmental condition alterations, wherein the hydrogel is cytocompatible and, upon degradation, produces substantially non-toxic products.
