Abstract: disclosed is a dental whitening kit having a hydrogen peroxide gel and a photo-activator gel suitable for being mixed together and applied to teeth to be whitened. the photo-activator gel has purified water, glycerin, a gelling agent, and photo-activator substances that act as catalysts when they are exposed to blue light, in a decomposition reaction of the hydrogen peroxide into water and oxygen, increasing the generation of reactive oxygen species (ros). the photo-activator substances are red azo dye, vitamin b2, fucus vesiculosus seaweed, and potassium iodide.
