Abstract: the invention relates a socket valve for ventilating and venting a prosthesis socket with a base body (), the base body () has a through bore (), a seal carrier () mounted on the base body () so as to be rotatable about an axis of rotation () is attached to the base body (), which is in fluidic connection with the through-bore () and closes or opens a ventilation duct () which is in fluidic connection with the through-bore (), wherein the closable ventilation duct () is formed in the base body () and is sealed off from the through bore () via a seal () arranged between the seal carrier () and the base body () in a first position of the seal carrier () and is in fluidic connection with the through bore () in an unsealed manner in a second position of the seal carrier (), and the seal () is positioned in an inclined manner with respect to the axis of rotation ().
