Abstract: an ultrasonic wave probe includes an ultrasonic wave transmitter and receiver that transmits ultrasonic waves to a living body and that receives ultrasonic waves that were reflected inside the living body and a housing that accommodates the ultrasonic wave transmitter and receiver, wherein the housing is provided with a guide that indicates a contact angle of the ultrasonic wave transmitter and receiver corresponding to a measurement site inside the living body.
