Abstract: a cartridge for a vapour generating device includes a liquid store for containing a vapour generating liquid and a vapour generating unit. the unit includes a vaporisation device. the vaporisation device includes a heating element including an inductively heatable susceptor. the unit further includes a liquid transfer element arranged to hold and transfer vapour generating liquid from the liquid store to the vaporisation device by capillary action. the susceptor is arranged in thermal proximity to the liquid transfer element to heat and vaporise the vapour generating liquid held and transferred to the vaporisation device by the liquid transfer element. the susceptor surrounds the liquid transfer element and has an inner surface that contacts an outer surface of the liquid transfer element. the susceptor has an inner diameter of from 3 mm to 10 mm. the liquid transfer element has an outer diameter corresponding to the inner diameter of the susceptor.
