POWER HEADROOM REPORTING METHOD AND RELATED APPARATUS

Abstract: a power headroom (ph) reporting method and a related apparatus are disclosed in the disclosure. the method is applied to a terminal device having two panels, where the two panels are capable of simultaneous uplink transmission in a first time unit, and the uplink transmission of any one of the two panels in the first time unit is intended for a first transmission and reception point (trp) and/or a second trp. the method includes the following. a first ph is calculated according to a first transmission power and a maximum transmission power of the terminal device, and a second ph is calculated according to the maximum transmission power and a second transmission power. control signaling that contains the first ph and the second ph is sent. with this disclosure, a ph can be determined and reported for the case of simultaneous multi-panel uplink transmission for multiple trps (m-trps), so that a network device can flexibly schedule resources.
