Abstract: a relay communication method where a relay device receives first signaling. the first signaling is used for configuring a first forwarding resource set, and the first forwarding resource set includes at least one forwarding resource. the relay device receives second signaling. the second signaling is used for activating or deactivating the first forwarding resource set and determining a beam of the at least one forwarding resource. the beam of the at least one forwarding resource is used for forwarding a signal corresponding to the at least one forwarding resource, and the beam of the at least one forwarding resource includes at least one of a relay device backhaul side beam or a relay device access side beam.
