Abstract: aspects relate to techniques for beam failure recovery (bfr). the technique includes transmitting a beam failure recovery (bfr) request signal with a first transmit-receive beam pair to a network entity using the transceiver; receiving a beam failure recovery (bfr) request response from the network entity using the transceiver; and transmitting an uplink (ul) signal to the network entity using the transceiver, wherein the transmission of the ul signal is in accordance with the first transmit-receive beam pair and a power control parameter assigned to a beam failure recover (bfr) procedure.
