SPLICE BLOCK SYSTEM FOR CONNECTING MULTIPLE COMPONENTS IN A POWER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM

Abstract: the splice block system is configured to connect multiple components in a power distribution system. the splice block including: (i) an external housing having a removable cover. (ii) a mating assembly coupled to the removable cover and including a first female terminal assembly, a second female terminal assembly, and a third female terminal assembly. (iii) a first male connector assembly having a first male terminal assembly. (iv) a second male connector assembly having a second male terminal assembly, and (v) a third male connector assembly having a third male terminal assembly. wherein a positioning force fis applied to each of the first, second, and third male terminal assemblies and a coupling force f, that is oriented substantially perpendicular to said positioning force fp, is applied to the removable cover in order to cause an extent of the first, second, and third male terminal assemblies to be positioned within the respective first, second, and third female terminal assemblies.
