PSEUDO-BOEHMITE ALOOH/NGR COMPOSITE-BASED AIR ELECTRODE FOR MECHANICALLY RECHARGEABLE ZN-AIR BATTERY APPLICATIONS

Abstract: the present invention provides a transition metal-free electrocatalyst (alooh/ngr), comprising of monodispersed aluminium oxyhydroxide (alooh) sheets anchored over the electronically conducting nitrogen-doped graphene (ngr), for orr (oxygen reduction reaction). the alooh/ngr possesses good catalytic durability in alkaline medium. the invention further provides synthesis of alooh/ngr and its applications in an air electrode for fabricating a primary zn-air battery.
