Abstract: an electronic device is provided. the electronic device includes a memory storing one or more computer programs, and one or more processors communicatively coupled to the memory, wherein the one or more computer programs include computer-executable instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors individually or collectively, cause the electronic device to detect an object in an image received from an augmented reality (ar) device. the instructions may be configured to acquire, on the basis of the location of a user and a user identifier received from the ar device, an interaction history of interactions, between the user and the detected object, for acquiring information about the detected object. the instructions may be configured to instruct the ar device to display, on the basis of the acquired interaction history, a piece of content selected from among a plurality of pieces of content about the object.
