Abstract: a method for controlling a system including a smart home mat, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises the steps of: capturing an image of a user through a camera of a tv; generating a virtual avatar on the basis of the captured image; outputting a graphic image related to a virtual exercise environment, which induces the user located on the smart home mat to exercise, through a display of the tv; and controlling the graphic image related to the virtual exercise environment to be changed on the basis of at least one of exercise amount information about the user and health state information about the user.
