Abstract: an optical imaging system is provided. the optical imaging system includes a first lens, a second lens, a third lens, a fourth lens, a fifth lens, a sixth lens, a seventh lens, and an eighth lens, sequentially arranged from an object side toward an imaging plane, wherein the first lens has positive refractive power, and the second lens has negative refractive power, wherein the second lens and the third lens each have refractive indices that are greater than 1.66, and wherein the optical imaging system satisfies the following conditional expression:
